Self-initiated
A self-initiated exploration of rotoscoping on the iPad, aiming to move beyond purely digital aesthetics and introduce a raw, tactile quality through hand-crafted motion.
Designers, creatives, and a broader audience interested in expressive motion graphics, as well as contexts like music visuals or live events.
I experimented with combining digital animation and hand-drawn techniques. The type was first designed in Illustrator and animated in After Effects, then redrawn frame-by-frame in Adobe Fresco using rotoscoping and stop-motion methods. This process allowed me to explore rhythm, imperfection, and a more human, expressive visual language.
The final piece is a bold, high-energy kinetic typography animation with a raw, tactile aesthetic. By merging digital precision with hand-drawn motion, the project conveys a strong sense of movement and creative drive, making it both visually striking and adaptable for applications like DJ or live event visuals.
