The Challenge & Objective

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rakuten Germany aimed to communicate internal insights and platform data in a clear and engaging way. The task was to turn complex analytics into visually compelling, easy-to-understand infographics that work seamlessly across editorial and social media formats.

The Audience

Business partners, media, and a broader digital audience interested in understanding how the pandemic influenced work culture and online shopping behavior.

Exploration

I translated data sets into visual hierarchies, icons, and graphic elements to highlight the most relevant insights. I explored different layout approaches to ensure readability while keeping the information engaging and easy to digest.

The Outcome

Two infographics were created to illustrate Rakuten Germany’s home office experiences during the pandemic and shifts in consumer shopping behavior on the platform. The visuals were adapted into social media assets, enabling Rakuten to share their insights across multiple channels in a clear, compelling format.
