Create a cohesive set of illustrations for a travel blog, based on an existing brand identity. The challenge was to translate the client’s visual references into a consistent illustration style that feels playful, personal, and adaptable across different content formats.
Travel enthusiasts and blog readers looking for inspiration, storytelling, and a personal connection to the journey.
Based on the client’s references, I explored a semi-comic illustration style with bold, partially broken outlines to create a lively and approachable look. I focused on developing a consistent visual language that works across different elements, from characters to maps and icons.
The final result is a cohesive illustration system including custom traveler avatars, maps, icons, header visuals, and badges. The style supports the blog’s storytelling while maintaining a playful, recognizable identity that works across digital touchpoints.
